im gonna dig a big hole and bury this damn suburban!!! i decided to get it out of the backyard yesterday and run it a little.... and the damn thing isnt getting fuel!!!!!!!111!11!1one!!!111eleven! the injectors are new, the tbi is freshly rebuilt, the pump and filter are both new... all i can think is maybe in the last 3 months sitting in my yard the fuel varnished already... anyone got a complete TBI fuel system they wanna donate to me?

Have you thought to see if the fuel pump relay is getting ign - batt power...and or installing a jumper wire to see if you are geting power to the pump?

DW

i know the pump is doing good... it ran for a while, then just quit... it'll run as long as its getting another fuel source (gas out of a corona bottle, brake cleaner or something of the sort...)

Well i don't have a TBI setup i can donate to you, but i WILL however let you donate the Burb to me,,, for further inspection and toying with :D

Scott, have you pulled and drained your tank? I bet you have sediment in your tank and is clogging the fuel line that runs forward.

mybe a fuel line clogged or your fuel evaporated away or its a pita burb like mine :D

yes when i replaced the pump i pressure washed and dried the tank for 24hrs... my pump is in the tank... the wiring is fine... im not too concerned, im moving to my new house this weekend and ill have a 1600ft garage to scatter the engine in. the motor will be coming out and everything will be rebuilt or replaced... i know something is clogged, just not sure what.

I just went through this with my truck. It would start and run about 10 seconds then die. If I tried to restart it, It would fire right up, run 10 seconds then die. Turns out the new pump would develope the pressure, but not enough volume. When I hooked a pressure gauge inline it would start out with 12-13 lbs of pressure, then I could watch the pressure fall of until it died. After replacing the fuel filter and checking all the wiring I finally replaced the pump and it works fine.

Edit:I guess I should really pay attention to the date.
