i,m planing on putting a body lift and heard you have to do welding do you have to do welding on the 2 in or the 3 in also were is a good place to get one

Usually the only welding you will have to do is the shifter linkage on an auto, or the clutch linkage on a manual. Most people will do a body lift themselves, however if you are looking to have a shop do it, you will want to do some calling around. Prices can vary quite a bit. ask all the questions you can, and ask what the quoted price includes!(watch for those "non included costs)! Good luck!

if the truck has seen any new england winters, i would pay someone to do it...those body mount bolts are knuckle-busters due to the road salt...

Personal opinion: STAY AWAY FROM THE BODY LIFT! Once again it is just my opinion. I have Nissan and the body is stress cracked from the added body flex. I know it is a Japan made soda can, but with enough flex, anything could start to crack. Save your money and buy a suspention lift.

Ya, I have to agree with Blazin 91...

I am not a big fan of body lifts... If it were me, I would save up for a suspension lift...
