Well I have pretty much decided that I won't have the money for a LOMAX 205 so I am going to build-up my np241. Now I could get a sye from jb conversions, that costs $340. But I have also heard of people using parts from a dodge np241. Apparantly dodge np 241s came from the factory with a fixed rear yoke. Can anyone tell me what year dodges these came in? What parts do I need to swap over to my chevy case?

My buddy need to go to the junkyard this weekend so I'm going to go with and try and find this T-case. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

That link is to my thread. I pulled the 241 out of an 89 Dodge halfton pickup. You will need a custom clocking ring. Kert at DIY4x offered to make one for me. All you would need to do is buy the gasket going between the adaptor and xfer case and mail it off to him.

Also you won't find them in 32 spline if you need it. I pulled the 27 spline input shaft out and put a 32 spline one from a chevy case into it. This transfer case is on it's way to Marv Springers.....other wise I would just offer to sell it to you:)

yea I saw that thread but I didn't find what I wanted. I was wondering if I could swap parts from the dodge case into my chevy case. That way I won't need a custom ring. Oh and this is going behind my 700R4 so 27 spline is what i need.

Oh and stallion I decided not to go with the box 4 rocks, sorry

no worries. I don't know about swapping parts. I guess you could just tear into them and try it. If it doesn't work, spend a little bit and get the clocking ring.

Well I guess I will just have to see if I can get one local for cheap, then go from there

Hey, I counted the spline spline today and i was wrong it is a 23 spline input that was in the Dodge.

so the input from my chevy case would have to be swapped into the dodge case?
