? about remote start and passlock on my 01 tahoe

I wanted to install a remote start on my 01 tahoe. I was told that I might have problems wirh the passlock. Can anyone give me any info on this.

Yes, you will have a problem, but don't give up yet.... You can buy a passlock bypass module with your remote start, if you do not use the bypass, your car will start and die like it is out of gas, security light will flash also. The bypass averages about $20-$40 and most places who carry the remote starts will carry the bypass, I hope this helps.
