About to start the K5 build

I was given the green light by the wife today (after getting rid of my sports car) to start on my '87 K5. Not sure where to begin! I know the transfercase needs work. If I replace it I should get something that will handle more torque as a rebuild on the 350 is also on the table. Just had the 700R4 rebuilt last winter. Looking to lift it, upgrade suspension and exhaust, put some bigger shoes on it, find a soft top for it and repaint it. Also thinking about redoing the interior with some sport buckets and pulling the carpet and spraying Rhino Liner on the floor. I guess my first question is who are some of the reliable parts suppliers and where should I begin?
