Thinking about buying a s10 that has ABS anybody ever take them off? can it be done? What electronic get screwed if you do? It is possible ? Or am I just crazy to think about it?

Why exactly do you not want ABS? I was trying to think of a way to install ABS on my ''73.
You could go the cheap way and just disconnect one of the wheel speed sensors (usally sticking out of the back of the wheel hub, follow the wire up a foot or 2 and there's a weather pack plug, just disconnect it, that disables the whole system. Your going to get the ABS light on the dash, but you could just remove that bulb.
