The ac compressor bracket on my 1990 v1500 suburban with 350tbi is broken. Its the large aluminum one on the pass side it holds the r4 style compressor and would hold smog pump i believe if i had one. I need to find a replacement asap because i leave on a long off road trip later this week. Im searching junk yards and need to know what year and vehicle range used the same serp. Belt pass side aluminum ac bracket so i can try and yrack one down. Something like this always happens before a trip right lol. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks mike

Up to last year for it in 1995 look for a 4.3 / 5.0 / 5.7 they all used that one . Some didnt get smog pump mount .

4.3 in s-10 stuff also .

So if i find any aluminum serp belt style on a tbi it should be the same?

I knew they were all basically the same engine but was unsure if the brackets were any diffrent.

Mine has the smog pump part but the truck does not run a smog pump if i find a non smog pump bracket would it still work?

It should, if they exist. Not sure gm bothered to make two different brackets. I think they just didn't install the smog pump, if not required.

I have seen a couple of '95 engines without the smog pump mount. One 4.3, one 5.7. Not sure what other years were like that.

Been a long time since I've seen a V8 from later part of the last century with out an air pump. Hell the big blocks had 2.
Not to many Federal emissions made it to Kommiefornia, for me to see anyway.
