Took the grill off to follow the Haynes manual, and there is no way it's coming out the front. I'd rather not drain the radiator if I don't have to. Can you slide it up after leaning the radiator towards the motor a bit? how have you done it?

Take off the two clamps that hold the top of the radiator on. You can lean it forward. There are two screwa that hold the condensor on. Take those out and you should be able to slide it out between the core aupport and the radiator. I don't have a fan shroud so mine was easy. Shouldn't be a problem.

Just did mine, bite the bullet and drain the rad, its easier then removing the grill. If you try and lean the radiator back make sure you cover the fins with cardboard or you will damage them. It only takes 10 min to remove after you drain it.

no draining needed, take off the clamps holding the top, lean the radiator back, take out the two screws and lift it up. You make have to take off the fan shroud depending on which one you have.

Once the fan shroud is out of the way there is plenty of room to lean the rad back and get the condenser out. Plenty of room. I just removed mine recently cause my AC was inop anyways.
