Yeah, most of the ACDelco I've been getting lately are that way. I just hope that they are keeping a close eye on the quality.

They’re the only guys investing in tooling would be my bet. Expensive capital investment, regulations, wages, and difficulty exporting probably makes the US too cost prohibitive for attractiveness.

I think this is why they split into 3 different product lines. It used to be that "Professional" was the same thing that came on your car (although enough decades ago, every AC and Delco and Remy, etc. part were the originals), but they've slowly phased that out. Now they also offer the "original equipment" line, or whatever it's called and Professional falls between that and the "Advantage" (competes with store brand parts). I think we all feel the quality has gone downhill, but in some cases AC Delco professional is the best part available.
I still get the AC Delco Professional because what else are you going to get instead?

I'd be willing to bet the AC parts made in China come from the same factory the no name ones are made in ..and sold for far less at other parts stores ..

Right. So one car. The Buick. And the ct6 plug in which only sold a few units this far. The rest are not gm.
