AC orifice tube ???

I was just on the rock auto site, they list 4 different orifice tubes from AC Delco alone. I need clarification, I'm making my wish list for the summer...

BTW, I'm using a 1989 'burb with rear air as the look up vehicle.

You want the one for the C60 system, which is the rear air option. The rear unit uses an expansion valve and the front uses the orifice tube inside the lower outlet of the evaporator on the firewall.

thanks, but I was mainly confused about the variable opening vs the standard version. They list 2 versions of each for a rear air equipped vehicle.

pros and cons, I would stay with the standard version. My 2 cents worth.
