I have a 81 2WD Blazer. belts went out on me this past week. bought new ones and replaced them and started the truck. Was working fine for a few mins then went to turn on the AC belt then flipped on me. Put the belt back and now it constantly flips on start up...any info on this??

Once a belt flips over,it gets the cords twisted, and it will never stay in place right...it's JUNK....you may have the wrong width belt, one too wide will be more prone to flipping or coming out of the groove in the pulleys...one thats too loose or tight can flip too,and if there is any misalignment of the pulleys,it will not want to stay in them too...your old belt may have stayed in the grooves because it was worn thin, and sat much deeper in the grooves.............................................................................................
