I am glad you figured it out. For future reference, spread the total amount of oil around the system. I put some in the condenser, evap and accumulator as well as the lions share in compressor. Always turn the compressor by hand when freshly oiled and connected to to a closed system. Prevents accidental hydro locking.
personally I always empty the oil in a compressor, measure and add what I want. Never know if the oil guy at the factory smoked his lunch and put to much or to little.
