I know this isn't the S-10 garage, but thought I would start here. I still have my very first vehicle(87 S-10 4x4 w/ 2.8LTR) that is in excellant condition. Its a 4 sp and makes driving the 91' Full Size Blazer with auto a nice change. But I still hope to never sell the S-10.

Here's the thing. I can pick up a 93' truck with same motor and all other items are changeable for my year(motor is locked up). I'd like to put the AC from the 93 into my truck. Its only $250 for the whole truck and there's lots of parts that could be parted out to recover some of the cost.
All the glass is good which I would like to keep for mine, so that's a plus in case ever needed.

Would this be such a headache to change the AC into mine that it wouldn't be worth it?

Just wondering if someone could offer some thoughts.

Tks

It would be alot easiest to just sell your s10 blazer minus the motor, and put the motor in the s10 pickup and drive it. But if you want to keep the mini blazer, you will pb have to fab some on the firewall to make the swap work, as well as tap into the wiring harness to integrate the a/c equipment. I am doing the same thing only in a cucv, and I am swaping cabs to make mine work, got one cheap with all the a/c equipment and wiring so this is the route I am taking.

Let me clarify.

I want to pay $250 for a 93' S10 pickup that has factory AC to swap into my 87' S10 pickup.

I shouldn't have even mentioned my full size blazer.
