hey just registered here not sure if this is the correct place for this..i tried using the gm-truck site but they're just a bunch of illogical moron losers

anyways i have an '84 k5 350.it was having alternator problems so i got one out of an '87 k5 350 and out it in my '84.i took the fuel line off from the carburetor to change the little filter in the carb but now it chug's up the hill like it gas thirsty. i thought it could either be the fuel pump or the in-line fuel filter..any knowledge of this issue is much obliged:k5:

First rule of troubleshooting. If you do something to a rig and it develops a problem immediately after, go back to what you did and check or redo it.

Pull that filter back out and make sure that it did not collapse when you put it together, and that crud from the line did not stop it right back up as soon as you started it.
Most of them have a short piece of rubber hose right there, and it might have come apart inside when you put it back on.
Of, if you had the hose hooked up when you screwed the filter housing back on, it might have twisted.
