Actual diameter of a 35\" BFG All Terrain?

Can someone post up the actual measurement of a 35" BFG A/T? Also, what kind of RPM's are you all comfotable running for extended periods (3-4hrs) at highway speeds(60-75)? My K5 is my DD and my road-tripper, as well as my trail rig. I have a crateGM Targetmaster with Performer intake and carb.

I am currently running 33" BFG's and 3.08's, Not quite the balls I'm looking for.

Re: Actual diameter of a 35\" BFG All Terrain?

My MTR's measure about 33.5" and my old BFG MT's (old style) ran 33.5-34" or so with 75% or more tread. Both at about 35 psi.

I turn 2100-2600 RPM on the highway normally (65-80). I run a 700R4 OD trans though. I was turning up to 2800 for consistent time today no problem.

I know guys without OD run 3000 rpm at 65 with 35's all the time without problems.

well unmounted they measure about 33", as everytime i ship a set, they get billed as 33x12x33

Right now my 33" BFG AT's measure a bit under 32". I have a TH350 with 3.73's and spin 3300 rpm out of my 406 to go 75mph. It sucks going 5-7 hours like that!! My new 35" BFG Baja TA's measure 34.5" unmounted, it will hopefully get the rpms down on my long treks. /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I've got some brand new 35" BFG AT/KOs on my 1 ton K5. I'll measure tomorrow if nobody post actual before then.

It runs 4.56s with a 700R4 and a 241. IMO, that is ideal for all around performance, gas mileage, and crawlability without adding something like a doubler to the mix.

My 35 inch BFG KM's on 15x10 inch rockcrawlers is just under 35 inches unloaded (not on truck). I run 2850 at 70mph with 4.10's
