Adapters for AuotMeter Gadges

I would like to put a mechanical water temp and mechanical oil pressure gauge in my 1986 M1008. What adapters will I need to screw into the GM ports and where on the motor are the ports? I have heard the oil one is on the back near an exhaust manifold, drivers side.

You can replace the idiot light senders, or use a T fitting to run both. The oil idiot light is on the back of the drivers side head, take the air cleaner off and you will see it. The coolant idiot light is on the front of the drivers side head, right above the exhaust manifold. I know the oil idiot light is 1/8 NPT, don't remember what the coolant one is...might be the same.
