I have a '78 k5 w/Rancho 2" lift....I want to use it to tow my trail toy. (a Nissan project)
Anyway's, can I use an add aleaf with the 2" blocks in the rear?
Thanks

Yes you can. Most kits have three ways of raising the rear. Say for a 6" lift.
6"front/5" rear block
6"front/add a leaf and block
6"front/6" rear springs

Thats how Super Lift and the others have there catolog set up.

i run a 4" block and ~2" add a leaf in the rear

Thanks...was just wondering if there were any major issues to be concerned with towing/blocks/add a leafs.....

Maybe it'll get rid of that saggy butt syndrome as well!

thats exactly what it did, the only problem now is i have the shell off and its sitting a little high in the rear. now i need to install those 1" lift shackles i bought 6 months ago :rotfl:

now when i put the shell back on, the front will be too high, and ill have to put the zero rates i bought in too... :D . good garage clean out, but then when i take the shell off again it will bug me... i guess its ok bc by the next time i need tires i will go through this cycle so many times ill upgrade from 35s to 38s :D

Many trucks come from the factory with a block in the rear. And an add-a-leaf will help with towing as it gives a higher load capacity to your springs and will reduce spring wrap.
