Anyone know if this is stock, or if some PO added a leaf or two? It's a '72 K5.

Great. Makes picking the right lift to keep it level that much more impossible.

all rears come with a helper leaf . its just turned a little is all .

and last leaf has the clip on it so that pack is prob stock . . . or a real nice tech serviced that pack and rebuilt it real nice .

Second to bottom leaf looks like the aftermarket add-a-leaf as its thicker than the leafs above it. Then the very bottom leaf looks like someone rearched the flat factory overload leaf.

The very bottom leaf could also had been swapped in from who knows what.

as said above by thatk30guy

and now I am on my computer at home with better screen .

that is a add-a-leaf on next to last .

Well, I guess my money saving thoughts of using a shackle flip in the back are out the window. New springs it is......Question, If I change all four of the springs with new ones, shouldn't it sit level? I don't see how the rear can squat if I change all four. Also, I assume that I can just get 4" springs all around to have it level, no need for one of the mismatched sets?

most guys with blazers tend to do min 1" more lift in the back to help the saggy butt look .

do it with springs or ez-inch / zero rate blocks there a bolt on to the pack just like a leaf is but go on the bottom of the last leaf/overload and do NOT effect the way it rides since its a bolt in block .
