Ok I have a 1977 blazer with out wiper delay.I can't stand having to turn on and off those f@#king things when it just drizzles out pain in the azz!! So I am wondering if a 77 did have this option?? or what will it take to add delay to my rig.I did search Google with not much about adding it but mostly of repairs.I did find thishttp://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/...04484/p-2004484/N-111+10201+600003811/c-10101.I was wondering if anyone has tried this,I really don't want anymore crap on or under my dash.Any thoughts on this?? Thanks Mike

The aftermarket box -- the JCW is the only one I could find -- is a SERIOUS pain to wire up. The motors in our trucks are apparently negative switched and the damn thing just didn't work the way I expected.

There were factory options, and there have been a few threads lately on using these... but apparently they were different for different years, so it's complicated.

Go to LMC Truck and Get a new wiper switch w/ Pulse wipers(delay)and a Delay control module. It is Plug and Play. Easy as pie. Parts are not cheap however. Good luck

I hear you on that.I did have to wire in a new windshield washer pump last year,I elected to use a aftermarket one and found that they are wired negative switched also. Thanks for your response Mike

I for got about lmc truck.I did look into the parts an yes it's expensive around 95.00 for the parts. The way it sounds the wiring on the 85 to 87 blazer and the wiring on 73 to 77 have the same wiring for the wipers??I guess I need to go out to the junk yard to look around. Thanks Mike
