The only factory option my burb didn't come with was rear air. How hard is it to install this? Is it even worth it?

I'm not sure how hard it would be to install... but I almost never use mine. If you have kids or whiney chicks in back alot, you might want it, 'cause that's the only time I use mine.

I've got an 87 I'm parting--if you want to come to Roswell for the UFO festival, or take the family? to White Sands Nat'l Monument, you can come over here and remove it yourself , so you know how it goes back in.

Yeah, but you're in Michigan. Down here in the southwest, we use it frequently; like from June through September. When it's 100+ outside,it takes a little extra to cool off the cavernous inside of a burb.

It's pretty easy.
I did that on my van, I even used an after market unit because I couldn't find the original setup.
You need o put the T's in the front at the compressor, and then run some hoses back to the unit from under the truck, then install the unit and run a hose for the water from the condenser, and if you want front controls you need to run wires to the front if not you just need to get power to the rear.
:D

HighDesert, I will tell you what. I have an 89 burban that has front and rear air. I don't want the rear air. If you are willing to come down to Riverside, we can swap out the parts. I will take your non rear air parts and you can have my rear air parts. Shoot me an E-mail at Fixmy59bug [at] yahoo.com

Been thinking about pulling mine also. Less chance of planting my forehead on it when I crawl in back while camping.
Haven't used the air................... since it quit cooling.:haha:
