Working on my dual 2.5" pipealators.
Started at the flange and got this far. To get them up and going straight I'm thinking to make some pie cuts about 3" past the flange. Maybe 2-3 and not all the way through. If the rest of the system wasn't all mandrel bent I'd probably take a measurement and have a local shop bend it some.

Thoughts?

Is the tube welded to the collector? You could oversize the tube a little there and attach it at an angle to the collector. You might also just put a jack on there and see if it will move in the right direction for you (pipe up the tube?). I doubt having a shop put a 10 degree bend in the pipe is going to restrict flow any more than welding up pie cuts would. The fewer welds, the better, because that's where it rusts. You can weld aluminized pipe with stainless wire and it staves off the rust for longer.

If you're using flat flanges, you could probably pie cut either the header or collector flange mostly off and put the angle there.

Rust is not a concern here in the west. Many 40 50 year old unmolested cars still have most of the original exhuast.
Other points are valid.

If you need the angle at the collector, Sanderson sells collectors made at a 45° instead of straight.

So the collector has the typical 3" three bolt flange. The pipes in the picture have a 3"-2.5" reducer built in and are about 3' long. I also have some 6" long flange reducers on the side.

Does it make the most sense to just make a through cut on the pipes pictured, just after the flange, and reposition so they go out straight? Probably the smartest/easiest option. At the same time I can get both equal length to help with installation of the rest. (One long tube header flange is further back than the other)
