advantages/disavantages of high steer..

i might go high steer but i wanna know if there is any disavantages of high steer...the axle is in the stock location.what are the big advantages...

ive been reading and its not such a good idea on a 44 right???

it puts alot more stress on the knuckles in places that arent ment to have alot of stress. probably not the best idea on a d44 under a fullsize. but ur planning on a 60 eventually right? i wouldnt bother with histeer until u get a 60. even then ull still have to worry about knuckles, the aftermarket ones are beefy

i just put ord cross over high steer on my dana 60 in my blazer

it works great

I love hi steer on the 10b. It gets the tie rod from getting smashed all the time. I think it is worth what I paid since it is one of the best upgrades I have done. I am not doing a 60 for another year probably.

im not going to a 60 in this truck...my next build will be a trail only build with a 60 in it...the reason i ask about high steer is i have a deal on a set of arms..
