So I got a deal on some new front 3" HD EZ Tuff Country springs for a K30 (bbc with winch).
I plan to do a 2 1/2" ORD rear shackle flip, and use the stock 1 ton spring pack.
Keeping it low.
Any advice on making the rear 1 ton factory leaf pack more flex/road friendly? It will not ever see more than 1000lbs in the back.

always middle of pack . and skip every other one . main and second I would leave . and last and over load leave .

Or find some 3/4 ton Burb 56" springs. Those don't need thinning with a shackle flip.
Otherwise, I like ^^^ that idea.

I do what the woodchuck says. But I keep all the leafs around. Then if I don't like it I can mess around with it

Any woodchuck with that many posts and that much knowledge is a MR. !
Both sound like good ideas. Since I have the 1 ton pack, I'll start with removing leafs as Mr. Woodchuck says.
I'll go with Burb springs as Plan B.

learned this from a almost 40 year veteran in the spring bissness. and a year my self in the spring shop .

22-547 is the light 56" pack 2600lbs per from mid 80's ld 3/4 ton stuff.
