1/2 ton status
Advice/Opinions needed on buying a \'83 3/4 ton.
I'm wanting to upgrade my 1/2 ton diff. in my '71 lwb. I called a guy about an '83 3/4 ton he has for sale. It has a 350 with a knock(needs replaced) std. tranny. Unsure of what diff. it has under it. What should it have? 14B-D60? He would not shoot me a price, just told me to come look at it and make an offer. Body is in fair cond he said. I'm only interested in the drivetrain if it's what I need. Let me know what your opinions on it would be and what I should offer. Hope y'all can help.
