My 12 bolt won't even kick both tires in through the sloppiest situations. It's totally completely open and it sucks.

I want some affordable traction. A posi or limited slip type deal would be great. If anyone can make suggestions that'd be great.

And how's this for an idea...welding my front spiders for added traction offroad? It wouldn't affect my onroad driveability at all.

Truck is a DD.

I have been considering welding my dana 44, but I will probley buy a spool instead so I can take it out if I want. I don't want to dump much $ in to it so no locker. I am afraid I am going to be breaking a lot but it also depends on what kind of wheeling you do. Try to take a turn with much throttle and something is gonna snap. Also, you arn't gonna be able top steer very well when your hubs are locked in.
