Its been a year in the making and a long time coming, but my blazer is driving under its own power once again.

It still needs some work, but it has come a long way.

Edit: Due to throttle bracket mods, I can only give it half throttle for now.
 
Im also working on a 4l80e/241 w/sye to replace the 700/208 combo. Ive had lots of fun and spent quite a bit of money, but I dont think I would have spent my free time doing anything else.

I think the tires/lift looks like of short & stumpy for those bumpers. :dunno:

I like it though, I want to eventually make a very robust brush guard that tilts forward to let the hood open. Are those just running boards, or are they a slider I don't recognize?

Did you make/design the bumpers, or did someone make them for you?
 
Im going to get 35's for the street and probably 37's to wheel in, but I thought the same thing. Hopefully new tires will make it look better. Thos are just runninboards, but im going to turn them into sliders eventually. They are cheap sliders for now.

The bumpers? Those are 100 percent my idea. Thay are actually pretty complicated.... they have a latch system and everything.
