It's CUCV cold weather ("arctic") kit, on the regular top (IIRC that truck is a '79, civvy.)
Doug works on natural gas drilling out in the *boondocks* and apparently it gets c-c-c-c-cold out there.

Yeah, yeah. Doug's schedule has been such that he's never sure if he's gonna make it to BB -- at least I'm pretty sure I won't, most years
