Going to update the lockup on my 700r4. The one that came with the new tranny that I've been running is purely manual switch driven.

Shopping around on Summit, Painless has one that's the traditional type, vacuum switch and brake switch. Jet has one that I'm not at all familiar with where it taps the pressure valve for 4th gear with a pressure switch outside the case.

What's everyone else using? Pros? Cons?

i used bowtie overdrives lockup kit, i put it in because mine just didnt work.
pretty easy install but their directions were awful. ck5 helpd out a bit.

took about an hour to do and worked great until i pulled it out about a year later.

Call Phx trans in weatherford and talk to william...
Its alot easier to wire it direct from an ign source
as there are many variables such as cam choice...
rpm's at different road speeds depending on gear
ratio tire size that effect the motors ability to maintain
a steady vacum when its needed.
