A guy at work says that some company that he can't think of the name sells aftermarket fenders that are already cut out big enough to fit 40's, but still have the stock lip around the fender.
In all the years I've been around here I've never heard of anything like these, and I really want to prove this guy wrong. Has anyone heard of such fenders?

Probably means pre runner fenders.

You dont really know how big a tire you can run till you get it all installed though.

And they are usually just skins no way to bolt the inner fenderwell in or other items that are attached to the fender

I asked him if he meant pre runner style fenders and he said "no, just stock styled fenders". He's a one upper, that has apparently done everything there is to do...

No way never seen em would love to see em, pretty sure we on this board would know about em. They would sell like crazy unless they were stupid expensive

Instead of you trying to prove that they don't exist, why don't you put the burden of proof on him. Tell him if he can give you the name of the company that makes them then you'll believe it.

There is /was a guy on "67-72 " forum that made a stock style fender (fiberglass) with an enlarged opening. He was around here at some point because he messaged me a link to his thread over there. I'll post the link if I still have it.

there was that guy here, down in florida, molding up fenders, etc.. with a couple all glass blazers... speedglass windows iirc... bright yellow... but it was all stock stuff...

guy had a Cuda that was all hacked up, that's why i remember him.. :haha: haven't seen a post from him in a while...

That's the guy I was thinking of, his screen name was "mordachai" he had some pics of 67-72 fenders on the other forum and had pm'd me that he was going to be making fenders for later models, but, that was back in 09 :dunno:

This guy was saying that they are mass produced bolt on fenders... I'm not too worried about it. I told the guy at work he is full of $hit.
