Anybody had luck with any certain brand of aftermarket 81-91 fenders? I bought some once and they fit like crap. I've seen some on trucks that looked relatively decent. OE metal is essentially non-existent in my area and I need some fenders. My uncle owns a body shop and he can get keystone or empire/veng stuff. It's been hit or miss with them in my experiences. I've been thinking about giving Goodmark a try, their cowl induction hood was decent fit and quality. Another thought was classic industries. I've heard bad things about the LMC stuff. I heard one of the Taiwain panel makers bought the GM dies just don't remember who. I realize none of them are OE quality, just want something I don't have to beat the tar out of to make it fit.

Any help appreciated.

I used keystone on a 80's chevy flat bed truck, hood two fenders and a door the fit was good.

I had bought some body parts from classic industries was very happy with there stuff.

Perhaps the aftermarket stuff has gotten better then. I can honestly say I have not been too impressed with NOS stuff. I purchased a set of fenders from a local dealer that was closing. Aside from slightly heavier gauge metal they were no better in fit than decent aftermarket ones I have seen. I definitely would not pay $500 for them, the quality is not that much better. I am glad I did not pay near that price.

I appreciate the feedback guys.
