Is there any outfit offering a replacement front engine crossmember something along the lines of what Missouri Offroad (now gone - see product reviews on CK5 if your not sure what I'm referring to) was selling? I thought ORD was going to, but I may be mistaken.

I guess I didn't look close enough at the ORD site. I'll check again. I'll browse DIY site also. THanks.

Pacificfab.net just came out with one to get the vortec motors in.

How does that attach to the frame and where do the motormounts go?

Im still working on getting a picture of one installed so that you can see for yourself. It basicly bolts to the front of the stock 4x4 motor mount towers. Its made to get the vortec LSx motors in. Its not going to add any clearance for a stock motor. He is also coming out with long tube headers for the vortec swaps.

I'm swapping a 454 into a 1989 Burb with 1 ton drivetrain. I'm thinking of the ORD crossmember. Does anyone know, with the ORD crossmember, do you still need 4" of lift for crossover steering - or can you get away with 2" lift?
