the truck is finally back in wheeling shape, so i need to get inserts for my 12b H1's. because of the tire im running i cant just use the mag runflats (ive got a set that i already tried to use), so i need to go aftermarket. I know there was a write up on pirate and i already read it. From everything ive ever seen, US6x6 is garbage, so im definitely trying to avoid them. Anybody have experience with Dean Reeds inserts? anywhere else that might be cheaper? thanks

Is that cjdean or something from pirate? I had a set of his inserts and they were excellent.

I have also cut down a set of stock run flats.

Just confirming what you already know, usa6x6 sucks took them a month and a half to ship my inserts after they billed my card. I have heard nothing but good things about Dean Reeds inserts though

I know USA6x6 has a bad reputation, and I'm not trying to argue for them by any means. However, I got my inserts (and wheel centers) during one of their promotions a while back and recieved them within a week, no quality issues, and at a good price. Again, I know that a lot of you have had bad experiences with them, but I figured I'd give them credit for a good experience in my case.

thanks, im gona look into how much dean reeds inserts cost. i would cut down the stock mags, but the bead on the tires i run is too thick and wont work with the mags:mad:

anybody else had any experience with aftermarket inserts? i have a feeling dean reeds are pretty expensive, but as the saying goes, you gatta pay to play

Fwiw, USA6x6 has gone out of business so no worries about their service or product. :wink1:
