I don't know. Got it "used" from another member. It was new though. I have this same problem EVERY time I use an aftermarket 1/4. Even with "certafit" crap! I wish that GM didn't stop making them!!

I FEEL YOUR PAIN BROTHER. AND THOSE DAMM FLOOR PANS DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gifMY 69

Yep....that's why my buddy doesn't sell them...
Most of them look fine...until...you bolt the 1/4 to the inner wheel.

When it comes to 1/4's...
it's GM all the way... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

wish they still made them! I tried to find one, but came up MT! I would have GLADY paid the extra cost of shipping if i could have even located one!!

Really...that sucks... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I need a Driverside 1/4...before I start my k5 project.

Last summer...
I found 2 new GM 1/4's at Canfield Swap...
I bought the passenger side..
but the driverside was a little beat-up..
It sounds like I should have bought both 1/4's...for $450!!! /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

My local dealer priced 1 for me last year. He could get it for 475.00. I would have paid that for it, just to avoid the hassle. But at the time I decided to repair the 1/4 that was on that truck. So, when I got this truck, I called him to oreder it. He tried, but called me back to say he couldn't get it anymore and couldn't even locate one in the system! I would have paid a couple 100 more, if I needed too. I plan on keeping the 89 for a couple years as a D.D. and kinda wanted to do it right!! But i guess I can't. So if you see any N.O.S. 1/4's, I'de snag them up!!

Hummm....
That's basically what my dealer said last winter...$475...
I wonder if someone bought them up...
or the availablity of steel...forced GM...to discontinue them... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
