Hey guys!

I'm going to treat myself to a new clutch master, slave and line for my 80, so that I can drive the thing around the yard without having to start and stop it in gear all the time...

Does anyone know where I could find a good bolt in stainless steel braided hydraulic hose to go in-between? I personally prefer them cause they don't swell as much as a rubber hose does...

I'm thinking mine is steel....

Yes i thought those were usually bent steal lines like brake lines. If not I would say just have a shop make you one.

I should mention, mine is steel from the master to the end of the cab just before the tranny hump, then it turns into a rubber hose like a front brake line, and goes into the slave cylinder. When someone hits the pedal, I can see the hose swell a bit, so I'd rather just replace it :)

Mine is factory, and it's braided. As a matter of fact I've got two or three, believe all are braided.

I'd be a bit leery of just blindly buying the GM piece, they might have removed the braid to save money later on (like the oil cooler lines) but it is probably worth looking into.

I believe someone has posted part numbers. Oh wait, I have it... http://dyeager535.topcities.com/partsmanual.html

Doesn't look braided, but I don't trust the pictures.

www.afcoracing.com offers a 36" clutch hose kit...

You can also get cheap braided stainless lines from SpeedWay and select your own fittings for the ends.
