<font color="blue">The chip from Jim's was $140 burned to my specs. Tellico is a haul, and I have nothing to haul my K5 with /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif . If I had 2 weeks off and a tow rig, I would be there

not a bad price on the chip...

you should come down anyway though...itll be fun to watch to say the least

Well, it's been a long weekend. Got back out on LI today are 4 pm, had to work at 5pm..... Made it home with no big problems. I did have to stop once and find a self service car wash. Apparently I missed part of my radiator when I hosed it off the night before. There was so much mud stuck in the fins that the truck was running warmer then usual. I lost my alternator in the bottomless pit winching Josh out. Josh was still stuck in the hole but somehow I was able to drag him out with only 9 volt battery juice. The blazer made it out of the park on life support (stall then jump, stall jump). Installed the replacement on the road near the entrance. I guess that was the most major issue of the weekend. Overall I lost , or forcefully removed/damaged might be a better term, my passenger fender and inner fender well, the rear pass quater panel to a life saving tree and one bumper that seemed to be made out of kryptonite. All and all it was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the past weekend and special thanks to The Kendel's. Hopefully we can get the film back tommorrow. Including the rescue mission of JimBob's Jeep the Blazer saw close to 1000 miles this weekend. Okay time for bed, finally. More tommorrow,
Mike /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
PS that tree might have to come home with me next time I'm at Paragon, we've bonded.

Even if the tree was not there I think you would have been ok. I think the pucker factor would have kept you in the seat. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif I am just glad you guys got to go back on Sunday and play in the mud. At least you have a year untill we do it again. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Hey this is Joe, I had the white Jimmy on 36's with you guys on M trail. The rest of the rigs were from my club... Matt in the 57 Willy's, Mark (Skippy) in the red YJ, Chris in the black M38A1/CJ5 on 36's, and Rob in the Red K5 on 44" boggers is from NCOR, a club in the Adirondacks that we wheel with a lot. Our "trail photographer" got the pics up on our club website here:

He would have taken more of the Q trail (M extension) but he went with me to wander around Hazleton looking for a new driveshaft slip yoke for Matt's Willy's (it's a D60 btw /forums/images/icons/wink.gif) I wish I got to see you guys run up that trail, it looked like it was a good time. M trail was a ton of fun and I'm mad I snapped a stub shaft half way up, I knew that axle was shot but didnt have time to replace it before the ride. It was a lot of fun running trail in 2lo and not having to take a strap once! I didnt want to take that bypass around the last obstacle but I figured I'd play it safe, and Matt took it after the spring plate bolts ripped out of the D60 housing. My freshly built gas tank skid plate did its job perfectly, as did my rear bumper which saved my tail lights a couple times. Other than having the bedsides kiss a couple trees I didnt take much body damage at all, I was completely amazed! It's a good thing I left the hard top at the campground though cause it would have been smashed at one point when the truck tipped into a tree and everyone thought I was gonna roll. My trusty Pucker Factor guage told me I was at a 35 degree angle... that'll get the heart beating real quick! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif (actually I've had it to 40 a couple times)

Unfortunately we had one of the tow rigs spin a bearing as I mentioned earlier in this thread so we didnt get to ride sunday. Now that they've gone back to the "no guides" format, we're going to be riding there a lot more often so it wasnt a big deal to miss a day.

All in all we had a great weekend and I'd like to thank Wayne and Donna for setting it all up. We can't wait to see everyone next year!

Damn that was you!? You should've said something...I had no clue /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif.
Yall are definately a good group of dudes. Very hardcore and know what yall are doing. Rob, the dude in the Red Blaze, definately knows his stuff. Good meeting yall.

I kinda thought you had something wrong when I saw you going down the M trail. It was a great weekend overall. I know now what needs to be done and changed for next year to try and organize it better in the staging area.
There were some guys running the M trail backwards on Sunday and they said it was in their words "sick". I will be going to Paragon alot more now that we have 2 trucks. The only problem I see is that I wanted to use Donna's for a tow rig but she is talking about going at least 4" lift and 35's now. I think I created a monster. /forums/images/icons/blush.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Yeah I popped the axle about half way up, just after where Matt was working on the Willy's spring plate. Last month I blew a wheel bearing in Cleveland on 271 and had to drive on the hub/axle for about 5 miles to get off the highway to a phone. The spindle was riding on the axle and it got so hot it warped the spindle and tempered the stub shaft. I was gonna replace it but totally forgot about it in the mad rush to get everything else ready for the weekend.

I've been slowly scraping together all the parts for a 1 ton conversion but I'm still missing the D60, as usual! The 14 bolt is waiting patiently in the back yard. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
