I'm going to do a crossover steering conversion on my D60 and I was wondering what box I should use? How do they compare in price(new)? Is an AGR that much better? If I go with the AGR should I get the AGR pump also? Thanx

I, like Titanic, also bought the AGR box and wish I didn't!!!
WASTE of MONEY!! They just blow all together. I guess the problem with it is the cost...and the fact that mine runs super hot no matter what. Yesterday when I was ramping my truck, I notice that I was loosing good steering feel, (like my power steering was going), and then I got out and touched the gear box and almost fried my hand off!!! Junk was hot!!
Anyhow a regular 2WD gear box (new) is like $170 or so. AGR's is like $350!! You do the math.

Ok. Thanx guys. I'm going to the salvage yard today to see if I can find a good one. If not I guess I'll shell out $170 for it.

I got a rebuilt lifetime warranty 2wd gearbox and pump from Autozone. I've replaced each of them once already and need to replace the pump again. It cost me very little to replace and the service is great at Autozone. I'm going to put a cooler on the low pressure side of my pump. The heat torches the pump until it leaks and gets blow by. The gear box broke inside because the driver uses too much loud pedal.
