1/2 ton status
Just filled up at the fuel station. I've driven 828 miles since my last fill up...took 42 gallons to top it off. That's around 19.5 mpg! Not too shabby for a 22 year old 3/4 ton truck.
I usually average a consistent 18.5 mpg, but I've been trying to pamper the right pedal a bit lately, and slow it down some. I think it's helped a lot!
For the record, my truck has 700 auto overdrive tranny, 4.10 gears, and 27" tires.
