Back story;
83 m1009, rewiring along with 12volt conversion. Original harness hacked by PO.
Now, today I was starting to get everything back together due to the warm weather we are having. I thaught I had everything squared away so I went to connect the neg. termainal. This is when I learned burnt flesh smells the same as burnt spam. I have no feeling in my hand due to an accident when I was younger, so it went on for about 10-15 seconds while I was tightening the bolt. Then all of the sudden the engine tried to crank. I was not shocked but the ground got real hot.
I tried to jumpstart the engine since it was connected somwhere, but I decided to stop while I was ahead. My question is how can I fix this? Everything looks OK to me so far
