air cleaner

Lokking into bringing my air filter into the cab on the passenger side against the firewall. Anyone have any ideas of why this would be a bad idea. Seems like the air would be alot cleaner then under the hood (since I took out the wheelhousings) and probably alot cooler then under the hood.

It's been covered a few times. Basically gas fumes will leech into the cab when the engine is shut off and there will be a lot of induction noise. Backfires could be interesting as well. The ORD rig had an interesting system through the cab before they went buggy.
