Air Filter Base for Salad Bowl MOD ???

Wondering if anyone knows which Air filter base is best for use with the salad bowl , ie..."power charger" for tbi from Hypertech... I have gotten my throttle body mounted with tbi spacer and all mods from morse machine except the adjustable pressure regulator, which will be done eventually. Just need to get the correct base so i dont have any clearance issues with closing the hood and also to make sure that the base will not interfere with the throttle and tv cable alignment etc.....Filter size and lid recommendations also needed. Thought about the spectre unit with the filter in the lid but not sure if its worth the extra money..... any advice will be appreciated Thanks !!!!!


what size base plate won't cause any problem ????

Just use the factory air cleaner housing and cut the opening to the proper size then seal and rivet the salad bowl to it.

Air Filter Base and Salad Bowl...

Don't have the factory air filter assembly anymore and have done a tbi mod with morse machine and a tbi spacer. Will any air filter base work?
i know you can get different bases for different heights , just trying to figure out which one is a winner!!!

with the salad bowl any filter base will work.
