So kickin around the idea of doin some sort of helper setup on my k30 I’m building. So with the shackle flip it’s about 4” of lift and o don’t think anything in the way of a kit is available. Or is there?
I may try to adapt a kit but I don’t want it to look dumb either.

has anyone came across anything or made anything work?

Sneak peek at the wheels I’ll be runnin but there’s clearly a lot of room to make up for a helper bag

Air lift makes a kit for the squares still. Though I’d use a day star lower cup to allow the bag to pull away from the axle when it droops.

I've had rear bags on two 3/4 suburbans I have. They definitely help for towing and with stability when loaded heavy. They were work trucks so never saw any extreme articulation but that could possibly be a problem as the bags are not really secured like a coil spring and might not stay in the proper position for the lower bracket. I wanted to run 285/70-17 tires with stock suspension so I cranked up the front torsion bars about 2" to get the clearance needed and then jacked the frame up to level the rear. Then mounted the rear bracket so it was mid travel of the air bag and it worked fine. 30 lbs pressure held 2" lift, lower pressure stock ride height and loaded up around 60 lbs. Something similar to the rear spring hanger bracket mounted above the leaf spring u bolts should be a good start.

That's what I did too. I also have the Daystar cup for the bottom of the bags.
Do you guys have info or a link for the day star part? I’m completely ignorant when it comes to air bags:haha:

It was 88237 from Obijuan's post you quoted.
