Air hose from building to building?

sch 40 pvc is good for 240 psi...sched 80 is higher...
Id trench it and run it below ground...
anything you do above ground is unsightly and catches stuff at the worst times....
disclaimer- use of pvc for airlines is not to code in california
but.... its cheap and it works well...

A neighbor of mine has the same situation,he just put 2 quick dissconnect couplers on the ouside of each building and uses another air hose to connect them,when he's not using it he roll it up and puts it away.He uses his for filling tires and running his air tools,I imagine if he wanted to use it for painting he'd need an air drier,because the hose will sweat inside if its lying on the ground. All theese suggestions are good,but wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to buy a quieter compresser and have it in the same building??.Seems like less work at least! /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
If you run a 2"x4" from one roof to the other and then lay the 3/4" galv. pipe on top, then use two 4"x4"x10'-0" so you'll have a 10'-0" driveway between the two buildings. I would also put a "T" at the top of one of the 4"x4" and run a pipe down the pole with aquick conect at the bottom so you can hook up a airline there too.
