Heres my K5 and heres the story of her. Its an 82 Body with a mid 70's front clip sittin on a 74 Frame and it officially Titled as a 1974. Its sports a 400 motor, Truck Avenger Carb, Sm465 tranny, 205 T-case, Dana 60 front, 14 bolt FF rear, 4.10 gears. When I got it it was lifted via blocks, it had a 10 bolt front end and already had the 14FF rear, and it was black. I swapped in the 60 front from an 84 Crew cab and luckily the gear ratios matched what I already had in the rear so the rear axle swap was not necessary. I changed the suspension by taking out rear 4" block and doing a home brew shackle flip, I also added a Zero rate in the rear. The front is 4" springs and a zero rate as well. I just ordered the ORD 6" HD rear shackles because I need 1" of lift in the rear more to level out the truck, I HATE saggy but trucks. SO now the truck has a total of 5" suspension lift and 3" body lift for an overall of 8" of lift. I run 38's for now but wanna go with some 40's soon. The rear will be welded up and the fronts gettin a LOCRITE. Anyway, here she is, the wheelin season is almost here and I can't wait to get her out and get some NON POSER pics. I painted it myself with a roller and a brush, cost me 50.00 bucks. WINCH and bumper are next on the list.

I like the paint job. I would like to eventually paint my truck like that. I have to go home and make sure my D60 is still in my truck :D

They are 38x12.50 Swamper TSL SX's on a 16.5 rim. Not exactly what I wanted but will do for this season or until I can afford some 40x15.00 LTB's. For the paint I just ripped off a small piece of a FRAM airbox and took it to ACE hardware, they put the piece of box in a color scanner and matched the paint for me. They then made me up a gallon of it. Its simply an oil based RUSTOLEUM paint ina gallon can. It goes on smooth and is nice and thick, it held up on my old Burban which was john deere green. For 50.00 and a little bit of time, you can't beat it for a wheelin truck. I even have some left over and when ya scratch it you just grab a touch up brush and fix it in about 5 seconds.

Well Well, you guys have decided to hop onto my build thread and insult me, thats great:haha:. Look it was just a joke, OK OK a BAD joke, I didn't really think it would be taken this far. If I had a 100 bucks for everytruck I was TRYING to come up with the money and buy and it got sold before I could get to it I'd have alot of money. Look, I didn't/ WOULDN"T buy the truck like that from underneath somebody ESPECIALLY a guy from CK5!!!. That WOULD be a DICKISH thing to do and thats just not me, ask YellowK20 and Sleadhead on here, I'm just not like that. oNce again, I'm sorry for the BAD joke, I just find it amazing that you guys would actually think I had the BRASS to post on this board pics of my truck and then PUBLICLY announce that I SNAKED someones truck out from underneath them, WHO WOULD BE THAT FKING STUPID???

Because it happens sometimes. Just not here. Atleast we hope not here. I posted in the other thread to back off of you since you appoligized, and there are others who can vouch for you. Glad to here you understand the error you made here. just keep in mind some may not be so quick to forgive. This is one of our military boys. He deserves the best. Thank you for the appology.

Ok, no problems. Look, I was rootin for KidJethro as much as the next guy, I don't know him, but some of you guys do. If a total stranger on here was willing to give Jethro some money to seal the deal on that sweet Crew cab then that really says something about you guys AND KidJethro, he's obviously a stand up guy for someone to do that kind of thing for another man. It was an innapropriate joke at the worst possible time. I should have right away stated J/K and I wouldn't be on everyones ****list. Lesson learned.
 
yeah ak jimmy is a pretty good guy....even tho he like to do pumkins while hiding the the back of his blazer :haha::haha:
