Both are comparable in prices but how are the ride characteristics between the two?

I know Alcans have a great reputation for flex and ride so I wanted to ask about the Carrier springs. Are they soft or better than the firm springs like Superlift 8"? Or are they comparable to them?

Looks like they would ride terrible:

Seriously, I think the key in custom springs is knowing how to work with the builder and specify the right things.

I don't have any experience with either but I will say I thought my 8" Skyjacker springs rode softer than my 8" Superlift. Also, BDS has an 8" spring also.

Asked the same question awhile back

Picture shows the pack contains higher quantity thinner leafs in the pack, which tends to aid ride quality and flex.

I would still be willing to try if I had a few extra bucks. Obviously the extreme arch isn’t any good but they seem to stand behind their work and it wouldn’t surprise me if they rode better than expected.

Call ORD.
No.

I don't want or need everything they offer in their kit and they don't list 8" springs either. I can build my own system and also want 8" rear springs with no shackle flip. I already got a quote for the springs from Alcan and Carrier lists theirs online. Both are pretty much within range of each other pricewise.

Go with the Alcans. There's a reason they have the reputation they do as the industry standard

Why worry about what's listed or even bring up the term "kit" when you're paying the price for custom leafs?
