i searched and found headlight stuff, etc but couldn't find a diagram for the under dash wiring for the ALDL connector on my 87..
apparently my A pin is having a ground problem (think its a brown wire w/white stripe if i remember correctly). its supposed to have a voltage drop of less than 0.1 and mine is higher.. i'm trying to find out where that A pin wire runs to without slicing and dicing myself up under the dash.
this all stems from my scanner not communicating with the PCM. all the other pins test ok, B, D, E.. check engine light works and i get the code 12 but that A pin failed the ground continuity test...
any help is greatly appreciated. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
