Newbie and first post, but long time viewer of the forums

I have an 86 K5 that has all electric windows and this sucks. I read through another thread about how to change the driver's and passenger's doors to manual by replacing the regulators and cranks, but how can I change my rear tailgate over to a crank?

I found the manual tailgate cranks on ebay, but where can I find some manual guts for the tailgate? Also, is it an easy swap, or am I looking at more trouble than it's worth?

Thanks in advance!

I did it to my doors. And I would do it to my tailgate too, but I'm going with a pickup gate and a truckcap-like, lexan window instead...

Try LMC.... I never checked into it, but I bet they show an exploded view of the manual regulator vs the power one, which is what you'll need... I'd expect it'll be a pretty simple swap, doors where...

Great! Thanks for the info, and I will definitely look into that. The electric works for now, and I'll admit it's nice being able to roll down the back window from the cab, but eventually the sucker needs to go.
