Replace those ugly plastic tow loops

Silly me, but I thought those heavy rings that clanked when I flipped them on the rear bumper of the H2 I looked at were STEEL, not plastic. But hey, I'm just a poor dumb jarhead helicopter mechanic, what do I know about metal and plastic???

this is quite possibly the gayest thing I have ever seen!

I think the ones on the h2 are plastic coated metal ones.

But I've seen people take them off, scrape off the plasti-paint, and then get the rings CHROMED. BLing indeed, but...

nothing wrong with using plastic to coat steel... helps prevent corrosion and the like.

Steve will be all over them things !! Gotta have them things on his mall poeser !! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Apparently there're only for "High Tech H2s"...as opposed to low tech H2s...some people should be shot...

<font color="blue">You guys are looking at this all wrong! Have you ever looked close at the tow hooks on an H2? They're pretty beefy and they would be easy to mount to a custom bumper. The more billet tow hooks that are sold, the more stock ugly ones will be thrown out for us to use /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
