I was wondering, since I keep seeing questions about painting/prep and just to keep things more organized, is there any way we could have a sticky thread in the body shop that just has links to all the threads we have going and only the mods can add to it.

I think I'm subscribed to most of them but I'd hate to miss a piece of ryoken's words of wisdom and hopefully it would help others as well. :thumb:

if people would just post paint and body in the correct section it would make this place flow a lot better also .

Do like Mikey_d05 did with the 52" thread.

Put a thread in the body shop forum with all the links you can find or know of and maybe it will get stickied. At the least, it will have the majority of threads in one place that is easily searchable.:thumb:

to be honest, I usually don't know which forum I'm answering a question in as I always use the "new post" button and sometimes don't notice the threads origin, whether body shop, garage, etc...

the other thing is quality sought for different jobs and my perception of what the person asking the question is looking for...... I can tell you all the shortcut, quickie, semi-hack ways to do bodywork jobs, or I can tell you the 100% best products and procedures to achieve show quality work... but sometimes I have to guess at what different people want in quality, expense, etc...
