A year or two back either 4 Wheel and off road or Four Wheeler had a junk yard spotters guide which had guides for axles, transmissions, etc. It listed what years had which axles/spline counts and various other info. Anyone have this issue or something similar? and help is appriciated. thanks, rugger

I think I have what you are looking for. It is the August 2001 4 Wheel & Off-Road. The article is titled "Junkyard Scrounging Tips and Tricks".
