still looking for fitting size on radiator oil cooler lines?
no just the oil, trans later and they are more straight forward and also alot more fittings are available in that size.are you talking about the inverted flare trans cooler lines?
Yes that is one of my thoughts also but if i dont get a good braze the first time i,m back to replacing or going to a external cooler. Thats were i want to go with this project but i need a base line on my temp gauge first, which is very difficult to install without the AN fittings. Need to measure temp on oil in a movement area not in the pan. Farmer pulling hay in field only 2-3 mph at most times. Fan on external cooler in future with fan switch.I was just to take the stock fitting, cut the line off below the fitting and have a AN fitting brazed to it.
Hey will that 700r4 fit a non electronic diesel in 1986?I've never had my oil cooler lines off at the radiator on either of my 6.2's,so I dont knopw what threads they used in the radiator--but if they are 18mm "O" ring style fittings ,you can buy power steering hose ends with that thread and "O" ring, and maybe use that as an adapter to whatever your hooking it up too.....
